Filipino Fridays (3): Reading Habits and Book Formats

ReaderCon 2012 Filipino Friday

It’s been a rainy, rainy week, and we hope you guys are all safe and sound (even if not necessarily dry). Despite that, we hope you guys are well!

So this week, we announced the finalists for the Filipino Readers’ Choice Awards — did your favorite books get in? It will be a bit quiet on the Awards front now, where we let the judges do their work and judge the finalists. :) But on another exciting note, we launched The Great Book Swap, a Book-Crossing inspired activity where we get to leave books for other people to find them! Have you found any of the lost books yet? Some of them were posted on Facebook, or you can check #thegreatbookswap on Twitter. :)

And, the most important news of the week: pre-registration is open for the 2nd Filipino ReaderCon: United We ReadIf you plan on going, please don’t forget to pre-register!

Now that it is finally Friday again, you know what we’re going to do! It’s time for another Filipino Friday! But first, a recap:

You can still catch up with the first two posts, by the way — post one for each, or put it all in one post, it’s okay! And don’t forget to go through the other posts and leave a comment there too.

This week, let’s talk about our reading quirks. :)

August 3Reading Habits and Book Formats. Where and how do you read? Can you read anywhere and everywhere, or do you need a certain place/mood/state of mind to get reading? Do you read more in the morning or at night or any minute that you can? Where and how do you usually read? Are you exclusively for print, or do you go for ebooks more than print? Have you ever tried audiobooks?

Write a post on your blog and leave a link on the list below (click the inLinkz button and leave a link). You can post it on other social media sites, too, but make it public so you can share it to everyone! No blog, or your Facebook is private? Then just leave a comment with your answer below. :)

You may also tweet us @PinoyReaderCon or tag us on Facebook with your posts so we can plug them, too! :) Happy Filipino Friday!
