Filipino Fridays (2): School of Reading

ReaderCon 2012 Filipino Friday

It’s been quite an exciting week here with regards to all things ReaderCon, especially with the Filipino Readers’ Choice Awards! Have you checked out the nominees? Have you voted for your favorite books? If you haven’t, you still have time to do so! :) We also have our official poster up, and we’re not being biased when we say it’s really pretty. ;) And finally, we also had our first Filipino Friday last week! We all introduced each other then — it was very fun reading the answers! (In case you missed last week, you can still catch up, don’t worry!)

So that’s a lot of excitement for just a week! It’s Friday again, and that means it’s time for our second Filipino Friday! :) This week, let’s talk about schools and reading.

School of Reading. We all started reading somewhere, and more often than not, we were influenced by someone. Who got you into reading? Your parents? A friend? A librarian? One teacher who always lends out his/her books? How helpful was your school in helping your reading habit / fueling your book addiction?

You know the drill – write a post on your blog and leave a link on the list below (click the inLinkz button and leave a link). You can post it on other social media sites, too, but make it public so you can share it to everyone! Not a fan of social media sites? Then just leave a comment with your answer below. :)

You may also tweet us @PinoyReaderCon or tag us on Facebook with your posts so we can plug them, too! :) Happy Filipino Friday everyone! :)
