PLENARY: THE POWER OF READERS
Speaker will talk about what readers bring to the equation, both from a book industry point of view and an education point of view.

FROM READER TO WRITER: CROSSING OVER FROM CONSUMER TO CONTENT CREATOR
Readers turned writers will be invited to trace their journey from a fan to a writer. Speakers will share tips and insights they’ve learned along the way.

READING PROGRAMS THAT WORK
A follow-through of a similar panel for educators and students from ReaderCon 2012. Speakers will be teachers and librarians who have implemented a reading program in their schools that actually increased the level of reading engagement of the students. Panelists will share the experience and will also strive to answer the question: What are the elements that ensure the success of a reading program?

Filipino and Asian writers will strive to interpret the hashtag and advocacy #weneeddiversebooks from the Filipino and Asian perspective and try to answer the following questions: what makes a diverse Filipino reader? What makes a diverse Asian reader?
